No matter what theme you’ve decided for your Thanksgiving table decorations this year there is always room to add one more thing and I have the perfect addition for you. Today I’m sharing my Leaves of Gratitude.
Let me share my love of simple ideas that I’m using for my Thanksgiving Table this year. I tend to decorate in a busy style so I think that’s why I usually love to add something that’s easy and meaningful too. For my Leaves of Gratitude all you need is paper, scissors and a pen. I used cookie cutters to trace my leaves but you could also use leaves that you have outside in the yard as a pattern. Trace, cut and then write. Simple huh! This would be a great Thanksgiving Day activity for children to help you with. Have everyone take a few leaves and write what they grateful for and put their name on the back of the leaves. Now sprinkle them around your Thanksgiving table. You could make an activity out of it and let people guess who is grateful for what. Another great idea is to gather all of the leaves up after dinner and mail them to someone that couldn’t be there with you this year. They will love it!
No matter what else you are putting on your table there is always room for some leaves of gratitude on it. What are you grateful for this year?
