Looking for a fun and creative treat to make? These Halloween Banana Ghosts are sure to make everyone smile!
October is a fun month for trying out different treats. Instead of making the traditional cookies, caramel apples or popcorn balls I decided to try something new this year. These Halloween Banana Ghosts turned out the be the perfect treat. They’re simple to make, don’t require any baking and are cute too. Since the ghost’s main ingredient is a banana, it’s one dessert that falls under an actual food group, so that makes it “healthier” in my eyes! Right? Ha ha ha!
Here is what you need:
1 cup white melting chocolate
2 whole bananas cut in half
black writing icing
8 drinking straws cut in half
Here is what you do:
First you cut your bananas in half.
Next you slowly stick your straw into the flat end of the banana.
Repeat for all 8 of them.
Then you let them sit in the freezer overnight.
Now you need to melt your white chocolate.
Melt it in the microwave and mix every 15 seconds.
When smooth, dip your frozen banana and cover in chocolate.
Lay on wax paper.
